How the loan system upgrade on 11-12 August will affect you

The library’s loan system will be upgraded on 12 August. Some functions will be affected the day before.

On Tuesday 11 August at 14:00, the following services will be suspended:

• Ordering purchases/interlibrary loans
• The ability to hire and queue for keys to lockers.

On Wednesday 12 August at 05:00, the following functions will be suspended:

• Logging in to My Library Account
• The option to activate or create a library account
• The ability to join the queue for borrowed books

Book orders from the closed stacks and interlibrary loan orders for other libraries will be suspended during weeks 32–33 due to the summer closure.

BORROW
You will be able to borrow books as usual, but only at the information points.

RETURNS
Books can be returned to a return box. They will be removed from your account once the systems are back online. 

DIGITAL RESOURCES
Databases, e-journals and e-books can be accessed as usual.
