Why am I unable to request an available book?

If you are unable to place a hold on a book it might be due to the fact that there are copies of the book available at the library. If there are still copies available at the library we do not put away and reserve them, but you are of course welcome to the library to borrow the book.

It is only possible to request a book when all copies of a book are on loan.
